I Am Me – ‘I Am Me’
I Am Me Scotland has been working with various groups of young people over the past year to develop Child Exploitation Awareness resources, known as “You Are Not Alone” (YANA). We plan to continue working with young people in Renfrewshire to design and develop resources that raise awareness of child exploitation. Young people possess valuable insights into the issues within their local areas and will play a crucial role in shaping educational resources. These resources will become part of the YANA package, which will
be made available to other local authorities throughout Scotland, putting Renfrewshire on the map. Additionally, we aim to engage young people in your area to deliver a comprehensive campaign, including a play that will be performed in high schools to raise awareness of child sexual exploitation. This initiative will include workshops, providing young people with the opportunity to influence and shape the campaign moving forward.
Lamont Farm Project – ‘Lamont Farm Education Project’
Lamont Farm Project will provide young people with an education and experience with animals that they will not be able to experience anywhere else, through workshops, work experience, placements and our junior volunteering roles and we will support young people participating in awards such as Duke of Edinburgh and Saltire schemes. Paisley Pirates Supporters Club – ‘Paisley Pirates Equipment Loan Scheme’
There are 8 senior teams playing ice hockey in Scotland and to keep our existing local talent and attract more we need to provide a sustainable offer to local youngsters. We are an amateur team, bound by rules on what we can access and offer so are looking at purchasing a mini bus to allow us to include more youngsters in the game by bringing them to training and tester sessions and also providing transport to matches both at our home rink and away games. We struggle with funds for transport and often rely on parents.

Renfrew High School – ‘Renfrew High – Wellbeing and Employability Skills Development Project’

The project will focus on developing the mental and physical wellbeing of targeted, vulnerable young people. Senior pupils and staff will plan and deliver a programme of work that will provide an opportunity for the young people to develop positive relationships in a safe environment as well as giving them the fundamental tools and strategies to help them achieve their goal. It will equip them with the social skills, confidence, and self-esteem to make a positive difference in their own lives. The young people will be empowered to make their voice heard and to make improvements in the school and wider community based on the ideas and issues that they identify during the residential experience. Staff, senior pupils, and local partners will support and challenge the young people in making their change ideas a reality to the benefit of the school and wider community.
Renfrew Town Sea Scouts – ‘Project Minibus’
Renfrew Sea Scouts are in need of a new minibus to transport members to the outdoor activities operated by the group. A new minibus offers an economical and environmentally friendly way to transport our members to activities that offer social, mental and physical development opportunities. Our bus would be available to other groups in the district, thus the impact on young people will be felt by more than our own organisation.
Renfrew Town Sea Scouts – ‘Project Waterskills’
Renfrew Sea Scouts offer water activities at Castle Semple Loch to young people from all over the district. Young leaders (18 – 25) train Scouts and Explorers (10-16) in activities. Having a kit to wear will help them feel part of a group and encourage them to stay involved in football and remove the feeling of separation if cost no longer be a block. The cost has increased over the past 4 years and families are struggling to pay to keep their sons and daughters kitted out.
Renfrew Victoria Youth Football Club – ‘Pitch Perfect Equipment’

We will provide children and young people living in Renfrewshire with gift packages at Christmas via a referral system. We aim to provide younger children with books, soft toys, arts and crafts, board games, clothing, toys and sweets.
