Appeals

If you think your grades aren’t right you might be able to appeal. 

Find out more on the SQA website about submitting an appeal yourself or asking your school, college or training provider to submit an appeal for you. 

Exploring Options with My World of Work

My World of Work from Skills Development Scotland (SDS) provides help and support no matter what your results. 

The SDS Results Helpline 2024 opening hours are: 

  • 6 and 7 August, 8am to 8pm, 8 and 9 August, 9am to 5pm
  • If you’d like to speak to an SDS adviser out with these times, you can call their national helpline on 0800 917 8000 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm), visit your nearest SDS centre or community venue, or if you’re still at school, you can get in touch with your SDS school careers adviser there.

In the run-up to getting your results and when you receive them, you may feel anxious and worried, which is a totally normal reaction. But it does mean that it’s important to look after your mental health and wellbeing.
