Stirling Volunteers: Kayla, Cornton Youth Volunteer

Meet Kayla

Kayla has been involved in youth clubs since P6. She has been volunteering since January.

Kayla say’s ‘I’ve felt myself get more confident as the weeks have went by and I am really starting to feel settled in the role. I became involved in youth work volunteering as I seen how good it can be for the community when I was involved before. I now want to take my skills and experience and help my community flourish. The youth participation team have supported me every step of the way and made sure that I have the skills, confidence, and support to be the best I can’

What do the Youth Workers say?

Kayla is passionate about getting young people involved in sports and encouraging young people to have their voices heard.  Kayla is kind and supportive toward the younger group and has shown maturity beyond her age with the way she deals with individuals and groups.
