Youth Family Community Learning Lanark run a Bi Weekly ASN Parent Carers group which is open to anyone to attend who has a person in their life with additional support needs. The group offers peer support, information on other support locally and inputs from guest speakers that meet the needs of the participants and their families.

The group currently is made up of parents/carers of young people with a diagnosed or undiagnosed neurodivergent condition. We offer group and peer support to enable participants gain knowledge or insight into the lived experience of others to help them overcome issues and barriers they and their family face.

The sessions are very informal and welcoming to new and returning participants.

We meet in the Lanark Universal Connections Centre and run Bi Weekly in term time. Our meetings are generally 10-12pm and we have a WhatsApp group to quickly share resources and information that comes in out with our meeting times which you can also join.

For a list of the proposed meeting dates it would be best to contact Steven at the centre on 01555 666091 as these are subject to change due to when bank and school holidays fall.
