What is the UNCRC?

The UNCRC is the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. It was agreed and signed by countries in the UN in 1990 with the aim to recognise the rights of children and sets out that they should be protected and promoted in all areas of their lives.

What you said helped us understand what children and families need to feel safe and supported. This plan explains what you told us and what we are going to do next.
