Scouts

You will have probably already heard about the Scouts!  Well did you know that there are loads of Scout groups running across Renfrewshire?

The Scouts help young people build up their life skills by teaching you new things, helping you get involved in group activities and tasks that help make things better for you and everyone else and also helping you achieve.

There is something for all ages:

  • Squirrels, 4-6 – play, learn and get outdoors
  • Beavers, 6-8 – try new things, make friends
  • Cubs, 8-10 and a half – master new skills and have adventures
  • Scouts, 10 and a half-14 – explore the world and challenge yourself
  • Explorers, 14-18- take the lead and embrace change
  • Network, 18-25 – be the best you can be
  • Volunteer – share your skills and gain new ones

If you are interested we recommend visiting the Scouts website and finding out more as well as using their handy local group finder that shows you all of them on a map – there are more than you might think!
