If a call comes in regarding young people, police officers prefer engage in positive way and resolve things quickly, as the reality is there are often serious crimes needing their attention.

There are a number of simple things that can reduce the chances of people calling the police. Respect the environment and the community around you – clear up any litter, avoid making excessive noise in residential areas (especially later in the evenings) and be aware that groups of young people can appear intimidating to members of the public, even if you are just hanging out with friends.
