Harvey HAre, MSYP for Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn
Hello, my name is Harvey. I want to make my local constituency, the city and potentially even the nation a better place for young people. I want to be involved in business when I get older, I want to run my own business. I like reading non-fiction books to help me to prepare for this. I like inventing new products and am planning to set up my own online store soon.
I wanted to become an MSYP because I understand that young people deserve change, and I am someone who can strongly resonate with their issues and represent them. I want to help young people to get healthier and want to promote healthy eating as part of that.
What do you want to achieve as an MSYP
I want to support my constituents to feel more valued and not be excluded from decisions that affect them. I know that they have a lot to bring to the table. I want to try and decrease vandalism in my local area. There’s too much of it and young people get the blame for it. While sometimes it is caused by them, they get the blame for all of it.
What are three important issues you’re passionate about?
National economy Health Freedom of expression
Tell us a fun fact about yourself
I have been to the horse racing and guessed quite a lot of winners!
