You’ve just received your SQA results!
Whether you got better or worse than you hoped for, it’s important to know that there are organisations who can listen and talk to you about your options.
You can speak to an expert adviser by calling the Skills Development Scotland (SDS) Results Helpline on 0808 100 8000.
If you are a BSL user, you can get in touch with the SDS Results Helpline through a Contact Scotland BSL interpreter. Use their app to connect with an interpreter who will make the phone call with you. Visit contactscotland-bsl.org to find out more.
The Helpline advisers are available to talk you through your results, and what your next steps could be:
- Course vacancies at colleges and universities
- UCAS Confirmation and Clearing
- Advice about Foundation, Modern and Graduate Apprenticeships
- Jobs, volunteering and training
- Staying on at school
The SDS Results Helpline 2024 is open Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 August, 8am to 8pm, and Thursday 8 and Friday 9 August, 9am to 5pm.
If you’d like to speak to an SDS adviser outside of these times, you can call their freephone helpline on 0800 917 8000 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm), visit your nearest SDS centre or community venue (find out what’s close to you here), or if you’re still at school, you can get in touch with your SDS school careers adviser there.
