Glasgow MSYPs – Southside – Daniel Oriola

Daniel Oriola MSYP for Glasgow Southside

Hi! I’m Daniel. I’m a lover of Football, I love going outdoors. I’m very much an extrovert. I love politics and I’m a Christian.

I wanted to become an MSYP because I want to help young people have their voice heard.

I’m interested in supporting young asylum seekers and immigrants to access education and spread the word about the funds that are there to support them.

What do you want to achieve as an MSYP

I want to help young people understand their rights and know how to use them to change their lives for the better and become involved in decisions that affect them.

I want society to be more equal and make sure that every young person in my area can have the best chance at a decent life.

What are three important issues you’re passionate about?

Equalities, Poverty, Democracy

Tell us a fun fact about yourself

I love learning about history, watching football and  love politics
