Grace Robertson MSYP for Glasgow Shettleston

I became an MSYP so i can assure that young people are having their voices heard.
I will make use of public spaces like libraries to hold surgery type events for people to voice their complaints.
What do you want to achieve as an MSYP?
I want to get other young people involved. To bring people together around issues that are important to them. I want to encourage more schools to have clubs that encourage their pupils to learn about their rights.
I want to make a safer environment for young people and push them away from drugs, alcohol and smoking.
I will support pupils and young people in general, to have more opportunities in leadership and in youth clubs, activities, and events. This means young people can be given the trust and responsibility they work and have worked for.
What are three important issues you’re passionate about?
I’m most interested in Education and Lifelong Learning, Justice, and Environmental issues.
