NL Challenge- Music Workshop (Aged p7+)

Time and Place: 6 – 8 pm, @Home Centre

Project-based activities in the @home Youth Centre with a focus on music workshops. Young people work towards gaining an NL Challenge Award

Tuesday

Skills Challenge (S3+S4)

Time and Place: Tue. 1 – 3pm, @Home Centre

A focus on personal development and employability skills working towards Dynamic Youth Awards and SQA Core Skills.Partnership work with local high school

NL Challenge Group (P7)

Time and Place: 3-5pm, St Davids Primary School, Plains

Project-based activities in the @home Youth Centre with a focus on teamwork activities. Young people work towards gaining an NL Challenge Award

Youth Equality Learning Together

Time and Place: 6 – 8pm, @Home Centre

A partnership with Locality Social aimed at young people with ASN to provide a range of issue-based youth work activities focusing on personal development and independent skills: working towards a range of accreditation from Dynamic Youth Awards to DofE.

MATE (Boys) Living Life to The Fullest Group

Time and Place: 5 – 8pm, @Home Centre

A focus on promoting positive mental health through sports and fitness. Opportunities to engage in a robust programme with a variety of sporting activities. 

Friendly Information Zone (Young person Sexual Health Clinic)

Time and Place: 6 – 8pm, @Home Centre

Wednesday

From Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.

Airdrie Youth Empowerment

Time and Place: 5-7 pm, @Home Centre

Youth Voice group to develop Committee Skills training, Planning and organising, Community Events, Preparing for public speaking, Saltire Awards for Volunteering

Thursday

Living Life To The Full

Time and Place: 4.30- 5.30pm, @Home Centre

Mental Health support group for young people aimed at promoting positive mental health and understanding your feelings.

Referral-based programmes, young people can self-refer.

@Home Youth Centre Drop-in

Time and Place: 5.30- 8pm, @Home Centre

Weekly drop-in session with a range of taster workshops on offer from Music, Beauty and cooking workshops and team activities

Friday

Future Friday

Time and Place: 12.30- 3pm, @Home Centre

Airdrie CL&D Youth work will be offering a range of opportunities from personal development, employability, dance, sport, arts, health and wellbeing, digital learning, outdoor education, and volunteer leadership development.

Friday Night Drop-in

Time and Place: 6.30- 8pm, @Home Centre

Weekly drop-in session with a range of taster workshops on offer from Music, Gaming, Beauty, and cooking workshops and team activities

Saturday

Saturday Night Project

Time and Place: 6.30- 9.30pm, St Margaret’s HS

A range of activities from dancing, football, tennis, and group games to issue-based youth projects. Young people work towards gaining a range of accreditation from Dynamic Youth Awards to John Muir Awards.

Where groups cannot meet due to restrictions there will be an increased social media presence from staff on our channels @NLCYouthwork, to check in with young people and families and invitations to be part of online activities when the groups should be on once discussion with parent/guardian.
