RAF Air Cadets

Your local RAF Air Cadets Squadron is there if you are interested in aviation, gaming, training, sports and much more.  It is open to young people between their 12th and 17th birthday.  If you are older you could choose to become a volunteer so there is something for everyone.

Uniforms are provided and you also have the chance to work towards an accredited award.

Don’t worry about being thrown in at the deep end. You’ll join your local squadron as a trial when you get to know the other cadets and start basic training. You then get gradually introduced to activities as you progress, so you can make the most of every opportunity that comes your way.

If you are interested, there is a Squadron based in Paisley.  You can email them.

If you are interested we recommend visiting the website and reading about it some more, use the ‘find my local squadron’ feature, and you can even register your interest online.
