Orkney Youth Achievement Groups

Orkney Youth Achievement Groups run during term time, in both Stromness and Kirkwall, offering young people the chance to serve their community while having fun, building confidence and working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

The Stromness group runs on a Thursday evening for young people aged 10+, We run a Dynamic Youth Awards group (starting age 10 years) and a Youth Achievement Award group (starting age 14 years). This is run from Stromness Community Centre and Supported by Youth Workers from Community Learning, Development and Employability – Youth Services.

The Kirkwall Group runs on a Monday afternoon from the Orkney Youth Café and is supported by Youth Workers from Community Learning, Development and Employability – Youth Services. This group in for Youth Achievement only (Starting age 14 years).
