Girls Group – Cambuslang UC

The Girls Groups takes place at Cambuslang Universal Connections on Monday evenings. It is split into two sessions; Juniors P7 to S1 from 4.30pm till 6pm and Seniors  S2 to S6 from 6.30pm till 8pm. The group is facilitated by Youth, Family and Community Learning staff within our centre and welcome new members and referrals to both groups from other agencies such as: Pathfinders, Regen FX, Feeder Primaries, High Schools and Social Work. 

With a changing weekly programme, the groups take part in the range of activities including creative sessions, arts & crafts, cooking and baking, health & wellbeing sessions.  Both groups focus on fun and engaging sessions and regularly outings that supports the girls to develop relationships with staff and their peers and help them grow in confidence and self-esteem.
