S.A.L.O – School Alternative Learning Offer – Trinity High School

Taking place in Cambuslang Universal Connections every Monday and Friday 10am-2pm, this referral-based school offer is aimed at S2 pupils from the local high school. Each group is bespoke and is designed in collaboration with the young people to increase each participant’s personal, social and life skills through building positive relationships and team dynamics.

The programme is needs led and takes a strengths-based approach to remove barriers to young people reengage with and sustain school-based learning. Young people take part in a number of challenges and taster sessions to build resilience, widen their skill sets and develop personal learning plans to support aspirations and senior phase progression routes.
