What Does “Agender” Mean?
Agender Pride Day is a day of celebration for Agender people, a chance for them to show the diversity in the LBGTQIA+ community.
Being Agender means not identifying with traditional gender labels like “man” or “woman.”
Instead, someone who is agender may feel gender-neutral — or like they don’t have a gender at all. And that’s totally valid!
Everyone’s experience of gender is unique, and being agender is just one of the many ways people express who they are.
The Agender Flag
The Agender flag was created online in 2014 to give agender people more visibility and a way to proudly represent their identity.
Look out for its colours: black and white for absence of gender, green for non-binary identities, and grey for semi-genderlessness.

Pronouns and Expression
People who are agender can use any pronouns — he/him, she/her, they/them, or something completely different! It’s all about what feels right for each person.
Agender folks might also express themselves however they like — with their clothes, hairstyle, or anything else. There’s no “right” way to look agender.
Why Is Agender Pride Day Important?
Agender Pride Day is about celebrating identity, raising visibility, and making sure agender people feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
It’s also a time to highlight the challenges agender people may face — and stand together in support and pride.
