The Youth Alliance
The Youth Alliance was established as a community planning vehicle focused on addressing the challenges faced by our young people. Its overall purpose is to bring together all relevant partner agencies that work with and for local young people to strengthen partnership working and respond effectively to young people’s needs and aspirations.
West Dunbartonshire Youth Council
West Dunbartonshire Youth Council was formed in September 2019 to give West Dunbartonshire's Young People opportunities to engage in decision making and impact local change. Membership is open to young people aged 12- 25 who live, work or study in West Dunbartonshire and are interested in making a difference for local young people! Your two Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYP) were elected through the Scottish Youth Parliament (SYP) elections in 2019 to represent local young people across West Dunbartonshire. Hayley Paku (MSYP Clydebank & Milngavie) & Dylan Murdoch (MSYP Dumbarton) both activity engage with young people through regular consultations, meetings and social media to represent their views at national SYP sittings.
