Co-design a new Life Skills qualification!

Design a new Life Skills qualification!

Following our report last year on the future of assessment in Scotland, Young Scot and the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) have teamed up again to look at how a Life Skills qualification could work for young people.

Life Skills can include things like communication, team-working, adaptability, leadership, and public speaking, as well as many other skills. We know that young people are always developing these kinds of skills but don’t always have a way to show this to employers or universities. That’s where a Life Skills qualification could come in.

We would like to invite anyone aged 16 to 25 to take part in an evening workshop with Young Scot to help design what a Life Skills award could look like in the future. You don’t need any particular knowledge to take part, we want to hear from a wide range of people whether you are in education, in work, or doing something else.

When: Wednesday 5th June, 5.30-8.30pm

Where: Young Scot HQ

If you need travel booked we can arrange this, just let us know. We will provide dinner on the night.
