What's It All About?
Just over £50,000 of funding is being allocated to youth projects across North Ayrshire, and young Scots have the opportunity to vote for their top three choices - on where they think the money should be spent within each local area. Within each locality, a number of people and organisations have made applications for funding to enable their youth work related project to run.
Each young Scot, will be able to vote for three projects they think most benefits the money depending on which North Ayrshire locality they live in. You can only vote once - so make sure you read through each of the project descriptions carefully!
When do you vote?
Voting will open on Friday 2nd February 9am and will close on Friday 9th February 2018 at 12pm. The results will be declared on Friday 9th February on the North Ayrshire Council Twitter page, once they have been counted by North Ayrshire Council.
How do you vote?
Young people of school age will get the opportunity to vote at school during the voting week. You will use your 16-digit Young Scot card number or be issued a temporary number by your school if you don't have one.
There will also be other opportunities to vote, if you go to college or your local youth club for example, they will also be able to provide you with a temporary card number.
You can also vote from home using your Young Scot card number and visiting young.scot/NAPB
You'll be asked to pick your top 3 and mark your vote next to them. Simple as that!
