Magic Moment at Edinburgh Zoo
Bethany loves animals and is keen to become a dog handler in the police service, so a master class at Edinburgh Zoo was the perfect choice of Young Scot Reward for her.
“Receiving this Young Scot Reward has been an amazing chance for me to work with animals and I’ll definitely continue to collect Rewards points if it leads to these fantastic opportunities. I think it allows young Scots who’ve worked hard to be recognised with an extra special Reward.”
Breakfast with Sir Chris Hoy
Vanessa Ronald and her brother Mark, sat down to a Breakfast with Champions, with the legendary track cyclist Sir Chris Hoy, Rugby sevens star Colin Gregor, Long jumper Jade Nimmo and Badminton Olympian Susan Egglestaff.
Behind the Scenes at Gary Tank Commander
Speaking about her experience going behind the scenes of the top TV show, Sophie, 16, said:
“I’m a big Gary Tank Commander fan and I really enjoyed meeting all the actors and finding out how it all works behind the scenes. I think Young Scot Rewards is really good because you have to get points to enter the different rewards, which challenges you to try new things. I recently collected my points through talking part in the ‘My Strengths’ survey on My World of Work website, which I now use to find out more information on different careers.”
