This event will be ️ accessible for free online, so you can join from anywhere in Scotland.

About the event

At this event, you will meet a range of climate experts and activists and will work with other young people to create Scotland’s Youth Climate Declaration. This declaration will highlight the most pressing issues for children and young people and will set out their demands to the Scottish Government and international decision-makers attending COP26 in Glasgow.

Topics like:

  • Children's rights
  • Youth engagement in decision-making
  • Education & jobs
  • Just transition
  • Biodiversity
  • Energy & renewables
  • Travel
  • Food
  • Rural & islands
  • You will also have the chance to learn about leading climate action projects led by young people and learn about topics such as energy security, green careers, and climate activism.
