Under 22's Free Bus Travel Survey

Transport Scotland want to hear about your travel experience. Whether you travel by public transport or not, Transport Scotland are looking to see how the Under 22's Free Bus Travel scheme might change your travel habits!

About the scheme

The Under 22's Free Bus Travel scheme will be launching at the end of January. This scheme aims to encourage greener travel patterns and increase opportunities for young people in terms of employment, education and social activities.

About the survey

Transport Scotland aim to understand travel patterns and see if there are any changes from before the scheme compared to after. This is the first stage as the survey is collecting the travel habits from before the Under 22's Free Bus Travel Scheme.

You have to be aged 12-21 inclusive and currently living in Scotland to take part in the survey. You can take part in the survey if you are living in Scotland for college or university.

The survey should take about 10-15 minutes and it will ask questions about how often you travel, what reasons you travel for, how you feel about current bus travel and what you think of the scheme.

When you complete the survey you will be entered into a prize draw with the chance to win

  • £250 Love2Shop voucher
  • £150 Love2Shop voucher
  • £100 Love2Shop voucher
  • one of 10 £50 Love2Shop vouchers

You will also earn 150 Young Scot Reward Points by completing the survey.
