Share Your Story with Carers Trust

The Scottish Young Carers Festival was online this year, but Carers Trust want to make sure that young carers still have an opportunity to make themselves heard!

Festival Consultation 2020

It's really important that young carers are able to share their stories in their own words so that decision makers can make sure that any support available is really helpful to those who care.

The Carers Trust Young Adult Carer Advisory Group has created this survey to make sure young carers' voices are still heard, despite the Young Carers Festival having to be held online this year.

Who can take the survey?

All young carers can take the survey. If you're between the ages of 11 and 18, and you care for a friend, family member, or someone in your community, that's you!

You don’t need to share anything that you don’t want to, and you can write as little or as much as you feel comfortable with. What you do share will be used to help decision makers and others better understand what it is like to be a young carer.  It will also help to highlight what more could be done to make sure young carers are supported!

As if that wasn't enough, you can earn 150 Young Scot Rewards Points for completing the survey and you can also be entered to win a £30 Love2Shop voucher!

Take the Carers Trust survey and share your story

If you're a young carer, you can also access the Young Scot Young Carers Package. It's full of special treats to help you make the most of your free time and make sure you feel supported in your caring role.
