Young Scot is working in partnership with the Scottish Government to engage with young people in the content, design and evaluation of the Scottish Household Survey (SHS) Young Person’s Topic Report.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a group of up to 10 young people, aged 16-24 from all over Scotland to collaborate with the SHS Project Management Team to create a Young Person’s Topic Report, with the content and design largely developed by young people in order to maintain SHS response rates within the 16 to 24 age range.
The project will be running from September 2019 to November 2019 and will build on the ideas developed from the group.
The first session will be held in late September with a further two sessions tacking place in October and November 2019, to look at:
- Identifying key areas of importance for young people
- Developing content of the young person’s report
- Developing design and layout of the young person’s report
- Evaluating and feeding back on final designed report
What will young people get out of it?
Young people will have the chance to build their skills, gain new experiences through volunteering with Young Scot and engage in Co-design activities, develop content to go out on a national platform and affect decision making for all young people in Scotland!
If you would like to get involved please email our Young Scot Co-design team at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us:
- Your name
- Your age
- Where you live
- Any support you might require to participate
Applications close on Monday 9th September
