What is We decide… children and Young People Voting for Change

We Decide, Children and Young People Voting for Change is a fund where young people decide on projects that they would like to see happen in their local schools.

This year’s funding will focus on projects that focus on:

Climate change and carbon reduction.

£5,000 is allocated to each area and young people will take part in an online vote from Friday 23rd September until noon on Friday 30th September.

Successful application announcements will be announced here on Monday 3rd October 2022.

Voting will take place using Young Scot’s voting platform. Aberdeenshire Council Staff will be helping all young people in Aberdeenshire Schools in years P7 to S6 to cast their vote.  You will be able to vote based on your school cluster area.
