Info for Young People
Every year, Stirling Council agrees a budget to deliver its services. This includes everything from education and school meals, to bin collections and filling potholes.
These budget decisions have an impact on individuals, communities, businesses and families. This year we also have to consider the impact COVID-19 has had on all of us and how we are going to recover and continue to deliver the services we all rely on.
Stirling Council has to save £8 million this year and we are going to have to make difficult decisions about where that money can be saved from. This could potentially have an impact on services you use every day.
We would really like you to get involved by visiting our new platform, Engage Stirling and completing our quick survey. The decisions we are going to need to make will impact everyone living in Stirling, regardless of where you live or what age you are. So, we want to make sure that everyone has a chance to tell us what they think, and every age group is represented.
We would really appreciate and value your feedback.
