A young carer in Scotland is anyone, aged 18 and under who cares, unpaid for a family member or friend due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction.
Many young people are unaware that they are young carers and of the support available!
The posters below were designed by a local young carer to help young people recognise these responsibilities and self-identity.
These posters will be made available to schools/youth groups to help others understand the tasks a young carer may take and ensure they get the right support.
