Get Into Summer: Into the Wild

"Into the Wild" is run by Youth Services and is a way of getting outdoors and into Renfrewshire's great and under appreciated green spaces.  Outdoor activities will be on offer throughout our community based programme and will include environmental art projects, giant bubbles, den building and scavenger hunts.

Delivered in partnership with qualified outdoor leaders, other activities include:

  • learning about the local environment
  • navigation
  • wellbeing
  • using tools outdoors

There will also be walking, bush craft and map reading.

Play Rangers is a programme that will run in Erskine and Johnstone working in public spaces within communities with closed groups, enabling and encouraging all people to play freely outdoors.

We will be running closed Into the Wild groups alongside our open programme.

Please do not attend if you are showing any of the main Covid-19 symptoms. Information, help and guidance on this can be found here.

We aim to make sure that each activity runs as planned but there may be some circumstances beyond our control which may prevent this and some activities are weather dependent.

An accessible version of the programme can be downloaded here. It is in PDF format and includes tags to allow readers or reading programmes to read the text. Adobe Acrobat and other PDF readers will also allow you to scale the text up or change the contrast.
