What is W.O.R.K?

W.O.R.K: Working, Opportunities, Rights & Knowledge, is about raising awareness of and providing information about your rights at work.

From figuring out your first pay check, to holiday entitlements, or what to do when you’ve lost your job; W.O.R.K will help provide you with the knowledge you need to navigate the world of work.

W.O.R.K is the result of a partnership between Young Scot and the Scottish Government’s Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) programme. Co-Designed and delivered by two teams of young volunteers, the campaign will deliver content, designed by and for young people on employment rights for young people in Scotland. W.O.R.K aims to give young people the confidence to enter the world of work knowing what they’re entitled to, and what their rights are in fair work.
