What’s the plan for this years Young Scot Awards? Find out everything you need to know about The Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards 2020 event – whether you’re coming along to the whole event or will be following all the exciting stuff through our social media channels.
The Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards 2020 has two parts.
The first part of the evening is a dinner for finalists and their families, organisations Young Scot work with and VIP guests.
The second part is the awards ceremony itself, which you can buy tickets to!
The 2020 event takes place on Thursday 23rd April at the EICC, Edinburgh.
Time TBC: Red Carpet
Still to be announced... the timings for the red carpet - where every year, ceremony guests can do some celeb-spotting and selfie taking before the awards kick off!
5.30pm: Mocktail Reception
Dinner guests can enjoy some lovely mocktails and get chatting away to other attendees.
6.10pm: Official Welcome
The night begins for finalists and other guests! We welcome everyone to join us for a celebratory dinner before the ceremony kicks off.
6.30pm: Dinner is Served
Time to tuck into a three-course meal and chat away to all of the interesting interesting attendees!
8.30pm: Awards Ceremony & Entertainment
It’s time to celebrate our incredible finalists, hear their stories and give out the awards! Pack the tissues, it’s going to be an emotional one.
11.00pm: Event Concludes
And it’s over for another year… and, for us, time to start planning the next one! Make sure you get home safe via public transport, hiring a taxi, or getting a lift from a friend.
