From 5 – 20 September 2020, we’re celebrating Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight with Co-op. We’ll be sharing young people's behind the scenes stories from some of Scotland’s best-loved brands and rewards to help you cook up some classic and contemporary dishes with great, Scottish produce.
What is Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight
This year’s Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight is all about supporting local food and drink heroes. By shopping and eating local we can all enjoy fresh, flavoursome Scottish produce, as well as helping to do our bit for local businesses and the environment. Visit the #ScotFoodFort20 hashtag on Twitter to find out more.
Co-op and Scottish food and drink
Co-op is committed to sourcing Scottish produce to ensure the food you buy is ethical, sustainable and of course delicious!
Check out some behind the scenes from Scotland's best-loved businesses, including Stockan's Oatcakes, Equi's Ice Cream and the making of a Harry Gow dream ring on our Instagram story highlights.
Remember Young Scot cardholders can get 10% off at Co-op all year round.
We're excited to be sharing content on our Instagram and TikTok throughout the fortnight to celebrate Scottish food and drink. Keep an eye on our Instagram Stories to see young staff members at three of Scotland's well known food brands, sharing a day in the life at their work place.
On TikTok, you'll be able to see a recipe or two during the fortnight featuring Scottish produce, for you to try at home!
