Pronouns: She/Her

Describe your role in designing the Young Person’s Guarantee: I’ve been helping to design and shape the Young Person’s Guarantee through talking about our key asks for the guarantee to ensure it is best designed to cater to all young people especially those who may need it most. This has included discussing how the guarantee can be shaped to ensure young people from rural areas can benefit as well as those in urban areas. I have also been involved in feeding into the design and branding of the guarantee ensuring it appeals to young people to make it something they want to engage with.

Why is it important for young people to be involved in the design of the Young Person’s Guarantee? It’s important young people, like me, are involved in the shaping of the Young Person’s Guarantee because the guarantee is for young people so young people's interests need to be at the heart of it. By having young people involved in shaping the guarantee we can make sure that it's tailored to young people's needs and wants and ensure it works for us and others.
