Check out some of Young Scot's favourite moments from the last Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards!
This was a highlight in a year chock of fantastic events! 2018 was the Year of Young People in Scotland, so we had a big list of brilliant nominees to pick from.
We were also treated to Iain Stirling being our hilarious host for the night!
Jordan Daly made an emotional speech after winning the excellence in education award, and went on to win youg scot of the year. There wasn’t a dry in the house!
Jaimie Genevieve had so many selfie requests throughout the night we didn’t think the queue was going to end! She won the Entertainer of the Year award (and her win was filmed as part of her BBC Scotland documentary!)
The entertainment was provided by GAMTA - who put on an amazing performance of songs from The Greatest Showman, and Max George from The Wanted who had everyone on their feet at the end of the night!

Since 2018 was a special year for young people and we held the event later in November instead of our usual slot in April, we decided that 2019 was the year for a bit of a break. But don't worry, that gave us extra time to plan, and be back with an even bigger and better event for 2020!
