The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is an incredible novel that tells the story of Hazel Grace Lancaster, a teenage girl diagnosed with lung cancer. She attends a support group, but she is reluctant at first. She then decides that is a great idea.
She meets a boy named Augustus Waters who was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer but has recently been given the all clear. The two find solace in one another and experience a whirlwind of emotion including joy, love and sadness. They decide to travel to Amsterdam in search of their favourite author Peter Van Houten, who turns out to be a disappointment. When Augustus delivers soul crushing news that his cancer is back, both of their worlds crumble.
This book made me laugh, cry and sob. If you like heart-breaking romance stories then this is perfect for you. This is one of the best books I have ever read, I definitely recommend.
