Arbroath - A Place for Everyone

logos of the partners for project place for everyone logo

Do you like to walk, cycle, scoot – in fact any way of getting around and places to go to? There are plans to make big changes to the seafront at Arbroath – what would you like to see there? The road between Guthrie Port and the or West links is being made thinner with two lanes and new junctions/crossings.

Why? Well, to make it safer and better for people who are not in cars (but letting those in cars use it as they do now). This means there will be new spaces for cycling, walking, wheeling, sitting and playing. We have our ideas…but what are yours? You will be the ones that grow up with the new and improved spaces and places. So….tell us. We can’t promise you’ll get what you want but you might! To do this, over the next few months, a series of virtual engagement events will take place to allow you to give feedback on the proposals. Face-to-face meetings will not be available until it is safe and government guidance allows.

A new logo has been developed for the project – so look out for this as leaflets and posters are distributed to help spread information about what’s happening and how to find out more.

Information about the project is available on the Social Pinpoint site: https://shapingangus.co.uk/arbroath_places_for_everyone

The site has more information and virtual events to give you the chance to comment, join conversations and give us your ideas. You can also email apfe@arcadis.com or phone Arcadis 10am to 12 noon on Tuesday mornings and 2-4pm on Thursday afternoons (07557 549307).
