Amazing local Youth Project shortlisted for National Award!
The Angus team are delighted to announce Angus Youth Media Project has been shortlisted to win a National Youth Work Award in the Digital and STEM category!
This dynamic group has ran for over 9 years, providing young people with an opportunity to learn about and gain experience working in media and the digital world, whilst creating youth led content which is accessible to all young people in Angus via our local Young Scot pages. The multi media content is a trusted source of information that is reliable and youth friendly, covering a range of topics to raise awareness and understanding of issues young people face, as well as breaking down the attached barriers and stigma.
Angus Council and Young Scot would be absolutely delighted if this Project were to win! However, being shortlisted in such competitive and prestigious awards is a fantastic achievement in itself. It shows appreciation and recognition of the tireless work that goes into making this project a success.
We hope being shortlisted will help with our ultimate aim of making the local Angus Young Scot pages the number one stop for youth information!
