What is We decide… children and Young People Voting for Change

What is ‘We Decide, Children and Young People Voting for Change'?

We Decide, Children and Young People Voting for Change is a fund where young people decide on projects that they would like to see happen in their local schools - this is called Participatory Budgeting (PB)

With the impact of Covid-19, this years funding will focus on projects that benefit Mental Health and Wellbeing in your school.

£5,000 is allocated to each area and young people will take part on an online vote from Friday 1st October to 1.30pm on Tuesday 12th October.

Successful application announcements will be announced here on Wednesday 13th October

Voting will take place using Young Scot's voting platform. Aberdeenshire Council Staff will be helping all young people in Aberdeenshire Schools in years P7 to S6 to cast their vote.  You will be able to vote based on your school cluster area.
