Mental Health Peer Educators
Mental Health Peer Educators
Could you be a Mental Health Peer Educator?
Do you enjoy working with other young people?
Would you like to support your peers (other young people) with Mental Health & Wellbeing issues that affect them?
As a young person, you are likely to get a more open and honest conversation with other young people than an adult would, which is why we are offering you the chance to become a Peer Educator.
What sort of things does a Peer Educator do?
You might want to set up a ‘chill-out’ area in your school where young people can drop in over lunch-time.
Perhaps you could share information in an assembly or in a PSE class.
Could you be a person who other young people can come to for support and advice?
You will be given training and you will be supported by a Community Worker.
