ACT training has been developed by Aberdeenshire Council staff, with support from a number of Community partners, (Grampian Police, Fire & Rescue and NHS). Young people will receive this training from a number of staff members from different partners. The training has been designed for young people and will involve aspects of communications, creative campaigning, planning for real, event planning, diversity & discrimination, and presentations.
This training will give young people the skills to become more active within their community and further afield. It will also give them skills to become peer educators to up-skill other young people.
During the training young people will be supported to complete challenges for the Youth achievement award / Dynamic Youth, or it can be used in conjunction with an ongoing youth accreditation.
