See, sometimes we just can’t see it and sometimes we just don’t know
Because these people know how to hide it
So that it’s really hard and just doesn’t show.
You see, the scars are hidden under t-shirts, jumpers and more
And, just because we don’t see it
Doesn’t mean it’s not sore.
These people just don’t like their self,
They’ve seen the sense
But they don’t want help.
Depression is in your head, but trying to tell them that
It’s like talking to the walking dead.
They paint a nice picture, but the story has a twist
The paintbrush is a razor and the paper is her wrist.
Today is the day TO STOP pretending you’re okay.
