Getting to Paisley

Heading to Paisley for an amazing event, some shopping or to meet friends for a catch up? Find out the best ways to get into the town.

By Car 

Paisley is accessible from all major roads in the West of Scotland. Click here find directions from your location. 

For parking, both Piazza Shopping Centre Paisley and The Paisley Centre have multi-storey car parks right in the centre of town.

Travelling in the evening or at the weekend? Remember that most council operated car parks in the town centre are free after 6pm and all day on a Saturday and Sunday!

Paisley has great public transport links with McGills Buses who operate services in and around the town, offering you lots of options for travel!

If you're under 16, remember to carry your Young Scot card as proof of age for the bus!

You can get a train from Glasgow Central train station to Paisley Gilmour Street train station which will bring you straight to the town centre. There are also regular services from Inverclyde and Ayrshire too! Find train information here.
